North Country SnowSeekers

The North Country SnowSeekers snowmobile club was established in 2005,
with the concept of participating in Safe, Sane and Sober activities that the
whole family could enjoy.

The initial (and still long range concept) concept is to establish a Club House along
a Snowmobile Trail somewhere in the "North Country" of Michigan, and to provide
social activities Year Round for all members. The calendar includes attendance at
MSA functions by members, and thus requires membership in the Michigan
Snowmobile Association for all members. MSA membership dues are included in the
SnowSeekers membership.

The North Country SnowSeekers are organized as a not for profit (non-profit)
organization with membership open to all that are willing to abide by the principles
and by-laws of the organization. This Club is a member of the Michigan Snowmobile
Association and the Heart of the North Snowmobile Council and takes an active roll
in both organizations. Members are currently active as officers of the Council and
on the MSA Board of Directors.

Since all local trails are currently groomed by Trail Grant holders in the area, the
Club would foster a Program of teaching Snowmobile Safety Classes and to
enhance awareness of the importance of "Safety, Sanity and Sobrietry" on the
Trails. As such, the SnowSeekers stand in support of the "Safe Riders" and "Zero
Tolerance" programs.

The SnowSeekers currently have an active calendar and schedule of activities for
the next year. Rides are based on the availablity of SNOW, but in some cases the
activities have alternate plans to allow for the lack of rideable snow in the area.

Some activities are not yet totally put togeather, but details will be posted as the

The adaptability and flexability built in to the club activities reflect the Clubs
